Korean finds in BGC Philippines

Korean items can surely cheer us up, as some of their items are really cute and packaging is excellent. Finding Korean convenient stores is a breath of fresh air as it gives us a dose of the Korean cravings that we may have.

In BGC, there are several stores offering these products, but the Assi Fresh Plaza beside Cha Time is the one that me and my colleagues frequently visit. Though they may be that appealing and your curiosity is wanting you to try the products, not able to read Korean will be part of the challenge. Here are my top faves so far:

Melona - very fruity taste that is worth it's price. Makes you want for more after you finish one.

Samanco Ice cream - we usually call this fish cream. The drool worthy filling is really something and this comes in different flavors too.

A banana-flavored snack! Yay! The shapes are like of the big traditional chiz curls, but, it is banana flavored. My picky toddler loves this and I do too so far.

For now, only listing my top three faves. Got more on the list but this post is now making me crave for something sweet. Hope you can try them too and share with your hungry buddies.

'Til next time. Ta!

Shine bright

Let the little shower of hope,
be your guide when you are lost.
At certain times it may get dark,
but you should always be your own light.

Amidst it all,
never doubt.
Just keep on shining bright.

perfectly imperfect.

You call it awkward moments,
But I liked,
all your moments.
It shows,
how you are not perfect as a person,
yet perfect for my love.

Such coincidence, exactly three years after my last post. Coming back and writing back with a goal to spread love and happiness, as the world may need a little bit of these reminders once in a while. #myownpoemsanddesigns

Chalkboard Decals Ph (as low as 40php with free chalks)

I have been browsing for the past months on available chalkboard decals or stickers that can be used as a wall decor.  Yes, I'm able to find some in known stores in the Philippines but, alas!, they range from 200 php to 1000php. With this in mind, I decided to just create my own version of it, with my own patterns in mind --borders and kawaii designs have been incorporated for additional charm.

So I'm sharing with you my chalkboard decals. Very affordable, and this will help you post your inspirational messages, decorate your walls or crafting nooks, and provide an area for your kids to doodle or draw whatever they want.

By the way, all the planning was inspired by the lovely notebook I got from Spellbound.

Washi Tapes at Fully Booked!

After our Sunday stroll, we decided to drop by at Fully Booked (BGC) to look for Beautiful Creatures books. And my crafting instinct is telling me to check if they got washi tapes. So, after I succumbed to my nagging crafting conscience, that's when I decided to check their art supplies section, and tadaaan, there they were -- glorious MT washi tapes of different designs. From plain, to polka dots to laces, to stripes, oh they were all so lovely.

So on my next trip to Fully Booked, it will be a craft shopping mission, and I'll be so ready to hoard the MT washi tapes for my next craft project. Happy that I don't have to order online to get hold of them -- as they are so readily available now in Manila, Ph. :)
